80% Sale was bait or no?

my friend got me and him all the dlcs while they were 80% off costing 37$ total per person, now all the dlc is now 24$. sill a good value but did we lowkey get ripped off or am I missing something?

If you got the Anual pass on sale for Light-fall then you got to play the seasonal content.
At at lest i assume you did. It probably also included the Dungeon keys for Light-fall which is normaly 20$.
The seasonal content is now gone possibly forever and i asume 24$ Pack does not include the dungeon keys.
SO no i doubt you got ripped off.

thanks, makes sense. I just been comparing and couldn't make sense of it. but that is true we got to play a lot of the cool seasonal stuff.

I had the same question. I just bought the Legacy bundle 2 days ago and pre order, and now it's cheaper. Not to mention you get the 30th anniversary pack included in it for free too, which was not in the 2023 Legacy bundle. It's on sale for like $3, but they should gift it to everyone with the old Legacy pack too, that is not fair. I didn't get to play the seasonal content for Lightfall, so that wasn't a "bonus".

Yeah, I still got the pre order goodies for Final Shape, so it is worth it in that sense I got a ship, weapon, etc. that other people won't have that didn't pre order the expansion. But there is apparently a dungeon and weapons included in the 30th anniversary pack. I'll probably just bite the bullet and spend the 3 or 4 dollars to get the extra pack while it is on sale, but I might write customer service to see their policy. I got a bunch of in game currency items from the old Legacy bundle, so maybe it evens out.

Lightfall in legacy is good now. Making Shadowkeep and Beyond light is good. BUT the fact that Dungeom keys still exist and arent bundled in with ANY steam package on the steam store is a joke and its the most BS predatory ♥♥♥♥ ever.

Ppl will buy legacy+ Final shape + annual pass, thinking they now have everything and have a rude awakening when they find out about the scam of dungeom keys once they log in.

I got the entire DLC bundle for 37$ on humble bundle but i still had to pay an extra 20$ for Witch Queen dungeons.
I do have the Light-fall Dungeons so i don't have to spend the 20$ to get them because of the 37$ pack.

It's how discounts work, if you have ever been to a store before, especially a store that usually has deals almost every time you go in, the discounts will continue to happen until a certain point, it is a gamble on when to buy the service, but it is more of a test to see if the consumer finds the discounted value to be correct or a better deal for the product or services. I am just waiting for them to discount final shape, which I am betting they will do after they release their second season to final shape, probably during a holiday event.

Many legitimate steam competitors offered pre-order discounts, commonly at 15% off but once got as low as 20% off and the "best part" was that your money didn't directly go to Bungie if that's your thing.

Meh, still predatory for a new player that doesn't know about a news letter. They should give the 30th anniversary pack to those that already purchased the Legacy bundle. Not cool. Yeah, I'll still pay the $3 probably right now while it's on sale if it has some cool new dungeon or something, but it's the principle. I paid like $90 to get access to a game, and that doesn't even include the season pass for Final Shape that I am going to have to pay more for. The season pass is also bull sh!t.
