Calus mini tool drop rates are a joke

Been grinding presage for multiple weeks now, done it maybe 30-40 times
not 1 single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ red boarder and no god roll, then my other 2 friends who just started playing get a normal god roll after 5-10 runs... this is bs.

It was always good and the best thing about it is that it has incandescent but the new Parabellum smg can have heal clip + frenzy that will keep you alive in all but the highest tier content. There is also a new solar sidearm that can have heal clip and incandescent but they're both world drops so good luck actually finding them but you can farm legend/master lost sectors for them sometimes.

You can also try to get a Bug-out bag. It's an SMG from the season of the deep. You can't craft it, but its perks are better than Calus minitool in my opinion. You can also get Subsistance, Perpetual motion or treat detector to pair with incandescent.

Wait until it's for sale at Banshee and use deep sight harmonizers.

Or get the Amit rifle. It does everything my calus does with a better mag and better range.

thx for the tips i do have heliocentric with heal clip and incandescent and i have tried getting a good roll on parabellum, i wasnt sure if ammit was still good but i can give that a try too.

Tbh Parabellum carried my solo warlord's ruin run, I probably would've preferred heliocentric with heal clip and incandescent but with the origin perk parabellum can pretty much have a second stacking frenzy perk.

Although it is worth noting that when final shape launches we'll lose the solar themed artifact mods that give any solar weapon radiant and incandescent.

Farming legend should pretty much mean you're certain to get one on a knockout system, shouldn't take long at all

Calus kinda got powercrept by zaouli's after the hand cannon buffs, not really worth grinding for or using in most situations

Also the brave lunas howl can get heal clip/Incandes and I been loving it, but good luck trying to get it cause it took far too long.

If you're grinding the SMG for pve (which I assume you're since that's what it's mainly use for) I suggest you just grind for pulse instead cause their damage is the best in the next expansion or handcannon. That to say if you do need solar SMG in general, yeah the other SMG someone mention above is also pretty good and might be slightly less of a headache to get.
