Best weapons for PvE

What's the best/strongest weapons for PvE?

For Kinetic, I prefer Hand Cannon / Assault Rifle.
For Energy, I prefer Assault Rifle / SMG / Hand cannon
For Power, I prefer Rocket Launcher
My class is Hunter (Golden Gun)

Can you suggest some weapons for these weapon classes?
Preferably exotics.

There's a lot of context required to know what exactly you want out of a weapon that isn't available here to justifiably claim which is the "best"

For example; Monte Carlo is probably the "best" AR for a lot of titan strand builds.

Submission + Forbearance pretty much became the new Mountaintop + Recluse but if you prefer auto rifle you can get Rufus's Fury instead of Submission.

Who the hell (besides free players) uses Arbalest since Wishender got anti-barrier? Does the same job including the damage without special ammo and leaves the energy slot open for a special weapon if desired.

It depends on the fight.
There is no single best weapon.
Sunshot Exotic Hand Cannon will destroy most of the normal difficulty mobs.
And Machine/Chain guns will melt most bosses.

Higher difficulties do require more strategy thou.

Apex Predator. Do all of Riven's Wishes as part of season of the wish (available to everyone for free) and you can get enough deepsight versions of it to unlock the crafted version that has been THE meta since it came out as a craftable version. spoiler: rocket launcher that auto reloads up to two rockets in the mag and can activate a +30% damage buff

What class are you running? This all depends on your build. Witherhoard is a great all around exotic to use, as it can be used for pretty much any and everything.

The best weapon is not using any weapons and just running a pure ability build for 90% of fights, then specialising your weapons to either complement your abilities (e.g one-two punch) or annihilate high health targets

The best weapons are the ones that work for YOU.

Try everything you can get no matter what its perks are to see how you feel about the weapon and then if you like what it does try for getting a version with perks you like.
