WTF is wrong with skimmer?

I cannot exit properly the darn thing. All I keep doing is making stunt jumps. What I do however notice is you go to be completely still to get off. And by the way the surfing third person and animations are as much as the same are from Unreal Tournament 3 2007. For shame Bungie...for shame.

Shift is jump trick, control is grind, arrow keys are emote tricks, space should be dismount.

you cant jump off while grinding and just jump off like you normally would with a sparrow

to add to this, hold to crouch doesn't trigger the grind
it has to be toggle crouch

Lol I got distracted goofing around with the skimmer on the inverted spire mission and got nailed by the drill, apparently the middle section kills too

I dont want it nerfed, sure you can reach places not really intended and glide over enemies but most content that's not open world isn't sparrow- er vehicle friendly and pretty much every enemy has guns to shoot at you as you pass. It's not like you can fire while gliding
It's also worth noting that we have been skating and reaching things we weren't supposed to since at least vault of glass d1 and probably before

Hmm...could then be patched to better control or how to get out properly? Because sometimes when I hold to press the button that I do to exit sparrows while completely still work. Other times they don't.
I still haven't figure out how exactly must be done because Bungie can't optmize certains mechanic to easy compreension.

Ok fair but consider they just released a brand spanking new vehicle type. It's not gonna work right away it will be patched
