Raid isn't very good but still looks cool and has decent gear.
The quests are alright, pretty mid-tier.
New subclass is fun but not very good (except on titan).
Worth 50 USD? Only to dedicated players. Worth the 20 USD-ish sale prices? YES.

I found great use of the deluxe edition, and I'm hoping TFS will be the same, just waaaaaaayyyy better base expansion. Don't take my words too heavily though, I came during season of plunder, so most of my opinions on the past are from outside research (though I do own everything in the game and have played all of the campaigns with over 600 hours of playtime ;)
The communities population lowering for seasonal content. I think the biggest appeal for gamers last dlc was trying out 3.0 for subclasses, and making new builds for all the easier content. All the Destiny 2 video creators could barely keep up with the change of pace that the game is going though in Lightfall, which alienated their own audiences from them and d2, lmao.
Season 21 should have made "salvages" a patrol event activity, where we go in with a huge group and split up around the rig doing the objectives. And the amount or difficulty of objectives completed would have given bonuses like loot and bosses. Just to spice things up.
The in-game LFG feels too restrictive. And "Woman of destiny", really. Where is the classic "KWTD" tag. The UI feels too complicated. Its kinda funny with how welcoming it feels until you look for, or create a lobby.
Inventory tab really sucks, give me a damn keychain for all these keys. Give back my toothbrush and sugar cube
Then for the average gamers, I dont like how seasonal content is too hard for them. The devs should have added easier options outside of the story missions, or let us replay that easier story content. People just want to try out their dumb, wacky builds, with friends, after a long day of real life.
And finally I like where the game is going with incentifying content, but it still needs a lot of work. You guys took away my feel for the openworld resource nodes by stream lining them into glimmer; I still havent recovered from that pain
