Epic Games free dlc bundle

Is there a way to cross save from steam to epic? Epic is giving away a bunch of dlcs with the game.

Yeah. Link your accounts via Settings/Account Linking on Bungie.net, and set cross-save up with your Steam characters as the Active set. That will make your Steam characters playable on Steam and on Epic.

You will have to actually launch the game on Epic Game Store to access the DLC you own on Epic though.

Under Bungie's Activate Cross Save User Agreement:
To help prevent fraud, players that disable Cross Save will not be permitted to re-enable Cross Save for 90 days. {Expansion content and Silver purchased on one platform will not transfer to another through Cross Save.}

So in theory you could do what EckyThump suggests. You have to link your STEAM and Epic accounts to your BUNGIE account, enable Cross Saves, and access your EPIC DLCs only while playing via the EPIC launcher.

I have not done this yet, not sure if it's worth all the effort just for one Expansion that I do not own.

any idea how do i make my steam characters my active characters on the epic launcher ?
im stuck with no equipment and starting from square one

so i did the link and cross save stuff and i got my character but i realized none of the exoitics from that character are on this accoutn so kinda feels pointnless to even have linked is this whats su[pposed to happen or is this kinda wack

If you got it set up properly, everything you owned on Steam should be there when you play that Steam character on Epic, because it's now using the same account.

I have this problem too. did you resolve it?

i enabled the cross save thing when they first introduced it. Played on ps4 before now pc. Access to places wont work if you dont own the dlc on that device/account youre on but certain things will work. i claimed the 30th anniversary stuff on epic and essentially had to install destiny through epic to work ( locate installed game and verify files but installs different stuff anyway) and was able to get Gjallarhorn and access all the anniversary goodies but no content i owned on steam.
back to steam again had to verify the files and it reinstalled a bunch of stuff, in game i loose access to the 30th anniversary dungeon and quests but still can use Gjallarhorn and any other items i got.

wait so you're saying ill still be able to use my thorn hand cannon from forsaken? because thats the only expansion other than the witch queen i own on steam. Epic gave me the legacy edition so i get the witch queen and some other ones just not forsaken. However, if what you're saying is true then it doesn't matter because if you have the forsaken exotics then you can just use them despite not having the expansion on epic?

DLC content cannot be used cross-platform, you can only use the content on the platform you buy it on (so let's say you get the Witch Queen campaign on epic, you can play it on epic, but not on steam)

That being said, any weapons, armors etc you acquire, you can use anywhere

You can continue to use any gear you already own regardless of the content you own on that platform.

Late to the discussion but if you are looking for cross save, now bungie is actually letting you choose your character with all your items and gears intact. But it will remove(until you switch back from cross save) any other character you made in any other account.

Buddy what are you on? Your steam/epic account syncs, you just need to use the epic launcher if you only have free dlc stuff on epic.

This isnt console to pc cross save.
