my issue with the lore as of now
why does a fish know the origin of the witness? i'm no byf, but i like to think i know my lore for the most part. despite the origins of the witness being disappointing and the entity itself being... its know issue. can someone help fill in the gaps?

Ahsa is a proto-worm god; no name for the species yet.

The Witness used philosophy to metamorphose the species into worm gods with "Sword Logic".

Ahsa was a survivor that denied the Witness; Ahsa did not change into a worm god.

Ahsa is the origin of the hive gods. *edit* She must be a powerful and very old creature.

Because Bungie didn't think ahead and give us actual answers with Lightfall so they made a cut scene to explain what the hell was going on and dues ex machina'd it into the game through Ahsa.

There is no present reason as to why a seemingly random "refugee/survivor" worm who fled the black fleet and her world's collapse by swimming along the ascendant realm's ley lines would know everything about the Witness and the Veil.

But I'm sure there will be some plot twist when they bring her back for a season in 2 years that explains that she was actually super important the whole time even though no one seemed to care about her until she came out of no where to help Sloane aka Bungie invented her for a seasonal story.

i thought as much, its still... annoying it ending up that way, they already scuffed the death of the warmind after what? 2 years? i thought they atleast thought that far ahead but its nice to see bungie proved me wrong
