dlc bad reviews
why is it that almost all the DLC have negative reviews? i was thinking about getting 4-5 of the DLCs since their on sale, but is their a specific reason why almost all of them have such horrible reviews? like is it really that bad

It's not that bad. People just have a hard time reading when they're buying something.

Many reasons, content vaulting, gear sunsetting, microtransactions, the usual live service stuff. If you read them they're not really reviews on the actual products just personal complaints about Bungie.

The only actually negative dlc is Lightfall, that was a huge face plant by Bungie but its still worth it on sale if you want the Strand subclasses.

I'd start with the Legacy Collection (2023) for 3 story expansions and if you want more then grab Lightfall Annual.

so i noticed alot of the complaints with the legacy collection are that you dont get access to the dungeons and etc., but then if you buy it individually in the game descriptions you get access to dungeons and raids.

I'm only saving like 8$ buying the legacy collection. Am i better off just buying the 3 dlc seperatly or are the dungeons mentioned in the individual game descriptions also in the legacy collection versions and their referring to completely different dungeons? if that makes sense ha

The dungeons they are talking about are the Witch Queen Dungeons, which were NEVER included with the actual expansions unless you got the annual pass bundle that year. Getting the legacy or buying all individual expansion gives you the same content.

Like I said, people can't read for crap and then are surprised when there aren't extra features.

Shadowkeep includes its dungeon which was the last "expansion dungeon." Every other paid dungeon is a separate "premium" purchase unless you buy the annual edition of that expansion for example lightfall annual includes the two year 6 dungeons.

The "Witch Queen dungeons" are not and never were part of the witch queen expansion, its just easier to label them that rather than "year 5 dungeons."

Literally no reason to buy shadowkeep, beyond light, and witch queen separately if you can get the legacy collection (2023) cheaper.
