It is up to you to make use of them.
Maybe try investing in a mic if you really want to get in group based activities, doesn't have to be a expensive mic.. I use a 30 euro mic from amazon/ebay and do fine with it.
The problem is there is no mic needed. Only for Raid content and perhaps a few Dungeons.
Warframe doesn't need a mic? And their content is balanced correctly and split between community where you can do what you want and it doesn't just cater to the one Hardcore Player
And that is what Destiny 2 is suffering from. No content caters to the Casual player. Unless you rinse and repeat Vanguards ect.
You can do tons of content without a mic on Warframe. You don't even require to talk. You can if you want to, but the game is balanced that way... it's not forcing you to.
Raids are what, like 10% of all content in the game? Maybe even less. I would even say that Raids is what sets Destiny apart from other similar games. An activity that requires coordination and communication among players. If you take that requirement out of raids and make them based on the idea that "any casual without a microphone can do it," it's not raids anymore. They would just be 6-man strikes.
So the problem isn't that the game isn't designed around casual players. Casual players don't even want to try. Really, it's not as hard as you think. Start with dungeons, look up the guide on the internet, and find a team on the LFG site of Bungie. You don't even have to talk to anyone. As for raids, If you're afraid of the whole "Looking for 5 experienced playets, must have 100 clears" thing, try starting the search yourself. You'd be surprised how many players don't mind helping newbies complete a raid.
Maybe I'm wrong, though. Perhaps the fact that the last raid is so braindead easy that people complete it 2-man with almost no communication, indicates that Bungie are listening to the casuals and now all raids in the future will be like that.
I couldn't find a group to do the Wishender Quest. So I did it myself and completed the Dungeon.
So not even LFG is working.
So go play warframe and stop making these non sense post crying about systems you dont understand, its very clear you are bad at d2 and dont want to learn and improve.
I actually do play Warframe. And it's nonsense not non sense.
The content seems to have moved more towards multiplayer in Lightfall, mainly because of the difficulty increase and the location of all the pinnacles - they are mostly in multiplayer activities. Solo, the game is not as enjoyable as it used to be.
I don't know what the answer is for you, I am more of a solo player so I am faced with the same dilemma. For the moment, I have stopped playing.
A break is probably what you need. This game does get stale at times. I wont buy light fall until it goes on sale but ya.
