Should I get old dlcs evern tho most of the stuff got sunset?

Im a returned player from ps4 and I transferred my characters to pc, I had most of the dlcs except beyond light and the new ones. I know the only reason to get the dlcs is to play nightfall and get pinnacle gear. Is there any other reason to get old dlcs? I have most of the exotics even raid ones.

I would personally buy LF and jump in to the current content. Possibly pick up Witch Queen deluxe when its on sale (they normally reduce it a few times a year)

The Legacy collection will really expand the game for you and give you access to almost everything you need to participate in all activities. The only thing I am not certain of is that I think you may still have to buy the Witch Queen dungeon key with silver from the in game store to access those. The Bungie 30th Anniversary DLC is not required, but it will provide you with some great weapons for crafting and a fun activity, as well as the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. If you are planning on investing your time into D2, I suggest you grab it all. If you are just dipping your toes for now, then hit the lightfall expansion and the new seasonal content. I don't think that the Witch Queen Deluxe is the smartest purchase unless you find it heavily discounted somewhere. Legacy collection will give you a lot more value for your money.

99% of what you can earn in the game is not sunset. I'd say sunsetting would 100% not affect you at all but some dweeb would correct me like "some of the old purple gear you can get from the legacy section of the monuments to lost lights is sunset."

First thing to consider is that you're potentially mixing up sunsetting and vaulting with the former applying to gear and the latter to content. If you did actually mean sunsetting then none of the gear currently available as drops in the game is sunset nor will any more of it be sunset, if you were instead referring to content vaulting then that only effects the Forsaken Pack with all other available DLC still retaining all of the content they launched with.
