Sprint speed bug?
my hunter is at 10 mobility, but the sprint speed feels barely any quicker than my regular walk speed. is this a bug? ive also encountered a bug in crucible, as titan that my full on sprint speed was as slow as a crawl. this feels very awkward.

Mobility doesn't affect sprint speed. It only affects walking speed and jump height (and dodge cooldown for Hunters).

In the past I was able to run faster as a hunter.

Walking forward with 100 MOB is 7 m/s, base sprint speed is 8 m/s. 9m/s is max with speed booster like Amplified or lightweight weapon+movement exotic combo.

FOV can affect movement speed perception. You will feel slower with low FOV, while increased FOV and speed lines when Amplified make you feel faster.

You can also help your speed by equipping a lightweight weapon. I believe that Void and Stasis also allow a faster sprint speed as well. I feel your pain. It's odd that the 'tank' can outrun the class that relies on 'mobility'. But Bungie and logic have no place in the same sentence (except for this one).

Everyone runs the same speed and can be increased with each classes movement speed exotic or any lightweight frame weapon.

there was a video i watched yesterday by shadow something(i forget the full channel name) he busted myths and showed that mobility doesnt affect run speed

It is confusing but it does affect strafe speed not sprint. So higher mobility does let you peek shot better.
