Is there a way to cancel the Timeline Reflection. I am not interested in completing it.

Press Tab and hold O to go back to orbit like anything else?

Yes that gets me out of the instance but does not clear it from my log.

You'll get through all three missions in like 20 minutes. You can either take that time and clear them from your log or just ignore them, those are your options.

So ignore it. You don't have to complete it and if you want it gone then run through it in like 15 minutes skipping the cinematics.

If you mean the quest, you cannot abandon it. It can only be removed by completing it. A large portion of the new player quests cannot be removed as to prevent confusion.
