Synthweave bug? Consumed synth but didn't unlock.

I know this isn't the most important thing in the world but I went to unlock a armor ornament for my titan and it consumed the synth but didn't unlock the ornament. I even exited and went back in to see if it was visual, but nope I can't equip it. I can't say for sure if its a one off but hopefully Bungie notices this before people saving synths for Crota armor don't get scammed by the game.

No I was unlocking the previous trials armor helmet for my titan and I have the tusked allegiance helmet equipped,
