My recommendation is to run *towards* him when he jumps, he can't stop short to hit you. Other than that, just usual tormentor strats: high damage precision weapons, single-activation supers, etc. I assume you can also co-op it, so you could bring a friend to help you through.
I think the only solution is to get into the arena before the stupid thing is half dead, so at least than you can move around and perhaps avoid the stomp
I get they want to make things hard, but this is just cheap, lazy development, lets make an enemy with a tiny crit area that can stomp you halfway across a map and then put you on a suspended arena so it makes that even easier.
Just boring, sad and rather pathetic dev work if you ask me. especially from an enemy with a interesting mechanic
What is good difficulty then? Bumping up HP and damage is just "bullet sponges" apparently, but arena design, unique enemy hitboxes, and aggressive enemy attack patterns are also cheap?
Just leave me cold sorry, cant be arsed with garbage like that
it may the most bs thing in the game
but its still less bs than crota in dares
istg if the new raid has that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sword mechanic then im out
Trying to go for my Harbinger seal and he casually one-shots you on Master and the swords do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for damage.
OP is talking about a post-campaign quest boss that is in the same arena, not the final boss from the main campaign. Calus is MUCH easier to cheese.
