legend lost sectors
been working on the current daily lost sector for several hours now and im somewhere between 15-20 clears trying to get those new legs for hunter with out a single exotic drop. exotic drop rate desperately needs buffed. if theyre expecting us to have 10 min runs on the fast end when we used to be able to clear in roughly 2 the current drop rate is just a straight up ♥♥♥♥ you to players. and lets talk about all that "challenge" they were bringing back into the game for a minute too while we are at it. anyone find anything challenging about what they did? because i havent. closest thing ive found to a challenge is having to mag dump a clip and a half just to kill a redbar mob or the fact that a blade barrage doesnt even do half a bar of damage to the three bars the boss has. bullets sponges have always been a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic regardless of the game or intention. i have played since launch on and off and this is by far the worst state of the game ive seen in terms of enjoyability. farming legend lost sectors was already tedious as hell and now theyve taken that to the extreme.

Blade Barrage isn't a dps super unless you're using stareaters but even then its damage is only on par with some others.

Its also a void surge so why are you even using blade barrage? Match the element and do more damage and get your power level up.

power level isnt the issue here. im setting at 1795 on hunter without artifact and im using my vouchsafe and taipan both of which are void. i use solar as a stat boost and to have access to healing grenades if i were to need them.

and yes i know im ranting because im pissed and tired but it is still god awful design.

6-ish min per run for a 20% chance isn't bad imo. 30m on average for an Exotic is really fast honestly.

So you're giving up a 25% damage boost to a kinetic sniper (from matching subclass element) and void abilities so you can use healing grenade? Just take cover when you need to.

in this particular case yes. my average clear time on this with hunter even with subclass surge on is still slower than me using solar. with solar i average around 10ish minutes, void 11-12 and strand was just shy of 15 and over. do i suck at hunter very likely yes. i hadnt tried this on my titan till said snek had said 6 minute clear time which i was able to reach once i tried on my main. however i doubt thats the community average from what ive seen trying to doing GMs or master dungeons with randoms. maybe for the vet players out there sure. but since testing my clear times on titan ive done 5 more clears and still have yet to get an exotic to drop for hunter. as i said its not hard its the time consumption that is required for this that irks me. bad rng is still bad rng which seems to be exactly what i have since im well past that 20% drop margin at this point.
