Yes it can be solo'ed although its difficult, I went in with a full build and took a few tries so if you think legendary campaign is too hard then consider finding other players.

I guess its possible to solo but I am just incapable of doing it. The last section is insanely long and if you die you can start over again. This is pure torture.

The final 3 stage encounter is BS, more specifically the 3rd stage of it you're almost instant killed from everything focus firing you and zero effective cover anywhere to use.

Eh, that's just the name of the mission, was mostly referring to the reward's name someone else said.
