Both WoW and FF14 have this same exact system.
FF14 has an even worse system due to the multi class structure so you gotta buy a skip for every single class you play on if you wanna play that class on your character at the point you paid to get to.
I'm not buying it - its still bs.
Honestly the legendary campaign besides learning Calus was stupid easy. The only hard part are tormentors.
You realize you're the minority on this topic if you actually thought it was "super easy" - pretty myopic. You may be the only person I've seen write anything to this effect about legendary campaign. I do however see a ♥♥♥♥ ton of people complaining about how hard it is - and - the tormentors and calus are mainly what people are complaining about. That ♥♥♥♥ was awful. And the stage designs where you fight these guys are a big part of the issue.
