It annoys the hell out of me that we have humans with peanut size brains playing Destiny 2. I can't believe they have the audacity to leave a review bashing the story/campaign and stating that it's left many clues and makes no sense.

The entire story isn't going to be told in the campaign. We still have the raid that will give answers as well as the story from the season. There's more to be told, be pation and wait for the story to unfold like a TV series where you have to wait each week for the new episode.

People are leaving reviews for many reasons not just solely about the story/campaign. Just because you think its ok it doesn't mean others have to agree.

Personally I am not keen on the new location and new characters, I feel its very comic book and does not fit with destiny. I do however love the Witness. The campaign that I've played so far I have not enjoyed and don't even feel compelled to carry on with it.
I am hoping the season will be worth it story wise as I enjoyed the last one but haven't started this one yet.

Don't worry about what others think, if you are enjoying it then that's all that really matters.

You still talk about how you want the seasons to be and not how they actually are or will be. You don't know what they do with them.

Or maybe just maybe that people are giving it negative reviews because the DLC left a bad first impression... After all the time of build up towards this exact moment, it's rather disappointing what they gave out to alot of players.. I'm considered biased towards destiny and am usually easy to please, but even i gave it a negative review simply because the DLC isn't exactly what i thought it was going to be.. That on top of several bad seasons that we had before (Plunder/haunted). If Bungie were to give us just a few more missions for example, it would've been better... Lightfall could've been more but it isnt, it feels like a season of it's own instead of a actual DLC... And yes, i get it.. Lightfall is just 1 of a 2 part of marvel 'type-ish' series where as lightfall is infinity war and final shape is endgame...


At the end of the day, i don't hate the DLC.. I just find it "meh" campaign wise which is fine, Destiny content is like a hit or miss with lightfall being somewhat of a miss.. For all we know, the dungeon/raid could be absolute a absolute banger.

You're right but the least they could've done was explain what was going on in the little story we got.

It was all non-explained filler and maguffins they made up solely to sell strand. The initial and final cut scenes seem like they were one cut scene that was the planned opening to what is now final shape but was then cut in half and pointlessly filled in to sell a sub class. You could take our the entirety of Lightfall likelike it didn't happen and we'd be at the same point. Neomuna probably wasn't planned and will be another dlc location never brought up again, even Osiris left at the end like he wasn't supposed to be there.

It's fine if you think Lightfall is good but don't be calling others stupid because they disagree with you and were dissatisfied with the game.

I am seeing this story through to the end with The Final Shape, and then? Bungie never gets another penny from me. I advise you all to do the same. Quit giving them money.... I hope you ALL realize for the price we have paid for content since The Taken King, we should be getting 4x the amount of content we have. Imagine paying $60-100 for a Tomb Raider game that only lasted 4-6 hours. STOP GIVING THEM MONEY IN THE FUTURE. Let them rot.

There have been a lot of great points in the game especially last year's Witch Queen but if you want to use this low point to justify your years of disinterest then go for it.

My specific beef is that they destroyed the mods for armor.

The new ones have effects sure but, the +20 mobility and strength being lost just annihilated some of my builds. Very, very unhappy mechanically we stepped backwards this far and this hard

I would have agreed with the op if this "tv serie" was able to reach firefly's level of quality ...
instead of this drabble made for "modern audiences" that is more akin to "got season 8" or "the rings of power". -.-
