Not really, although you can reduce it substantially using Slickdraw, Gutshot or even both perks together.

If you use controller and want to get rid of reticle friction, you'll have to use Steam controller settings and bind keyboard and mouse to controller buttons/sticks. Something like this https://youtu.be/CenJLOTGxLc
D2 doesn't allow hybrid input, so you'll have to rebind everything

No, precision aiming isn't possible.

But there definitely needs to be a button you could hold to turn it off.

Im only using keyboard and mouse. I Dont even know why this is still a thing. And honestly the process to reduce it is way to much, to enjoy a game which could easily add a menue Option to turn it of with a click. I enjoyed the game, but I got kinda pissed in a Situation where I had an enemy " flying eye thingy" behindert a Container. And I shot the glimbs of it, just lurking out of the Container edge, and every shot went straight into the Container where its Center would have been. At that point I deleted it

Just to be clear this won't completely remove aim assist. Aim Assist in Destiny is a combination of reticle friction and bullet magnetism and emulating mouse input on a controller will only remove the former.

aim assist is an ingame hidden stat also referred to as bullet magnetism, it varies from weapon to weapon and it exists so that you wont have a hard time hitting enemies, afterall this isn't tarkov, it's an mmo anyone can play with no limbs and the greater picture of the game is it's movement, rolls on your weapon, stats, abilities and the loadout you choose. of course aim is important, but the main focus of destiny isnt on aiming, more so damage you can deal, keep in mind that early game low light activities don't require any effort from you whatsoever

Aim for the head and see how far you can aim away from it to actually miss. It's bullet magnetism.

I wish! I just love doing a 180 when shooting at one or more enemies and another add jumps in my line of sight to my left or behind me jerking my aim to another enemy namely the one that just jumped into my line of sight.

I see that op throwed aim assist and bullet magnetism to one bag. From the description i presume that he ment bullet magnetism. There is no aim assist on m+k, only bullet magnetism.

As mentioned in my earlier comment bullet magnetism is one of two aspects that make up aim assist.

I did not wanted to specify the *assist* by Name. Fact is that in my case, I dont like the Fact the game is helping me out in a way iam not okay with. And tbh either it is tarkov or a usual "mmo" , I can enjoy every type of game but I want to Hit what Iam gaming for. But yes as I said, the game is good but it is a big Red flag for me to enjoy the game the way I want to and this is simply why I asked if there is an Option now to switch the "fun" Button for me. I Dont noticed it earlier as mentioned abov cuz I Hit my target in normale cases. I enjoy fooling around in that "hub" area and just kill the endless wave of enemys. This is the same reason why I quitted ESO
