Is the Witch Queen worth buying?
I saw it was on sale for $20, I bought the other expansions when Beyond light came out but I didn't really get into it because the new player experience was trash and I didn't enjoy the idea of missing out of a bunch of content from older expansions. It felt like coming in to a tv show having skipped the first two seasons.
I have since decided I just don't care about the storyline and just want to play the game with the new expansion, Lightfall. But I don't have the Witch Queen expansion. I've seen that they are taking away content related to that expansion when Lightfall drops and i'm just like, how much content am I *actually* going to get for that 20 bucks at this point? If anyone can help clear this up for me that would be awesome.

First of all, Witch Queen itself is 16$ assuming you mean usd and the deluxe edition for 4 more dollars at 20$ at this point gets you access to 2 extra dungeons.

As for the content you're getting as much as there was when it launched, nothing from Witch Queen itself is going away only the seasonal content is. Witch Queen and the 2 dungeons each have their own weapons, armor, title seals, and exotics. Witch Queen itself has a nice campaign, raid, post campaign activities and exploration.

Of all the DLC available right now, Witch-Queen is definitely the highest quality. I would even say it is the ONLY one that's high quality. And, as the person above said, if you pay a little extra and buy Deluxe, you get access to the two dungeons that cost $20 separately without the discount.
