If you got the masterwork stat then just don't upgrade it.
yeah that makes sense -.-
overall it just doesnt do anything than reduce its effectivness
the trade off is bad and it just doesnt make sense and it's obviously not the magazine perks im talking about and btw they just give u a trade of e.g. more ammo but reduced reload time
now i got a master perk that just reduced the DPS *facepalm
bungie "needs" to change it because it's not a trade off it's downgrading a weapon while upgrading it
u could only argue that if the impact power is enough anyways it will still load faster and improves time to kill but again: it doesnt reduce the charge time by much but still reduces impact ""significally""
what R came up with that crap ???
The stats may not be properly reflected visually because the charge time magazine/battery modifier uses a % scalar based on the type of fusion rifle when it fires as opposed to the masterwork that is just a stat trade.
the masterwork usually just ups impact or reach or reload time but here it improves charge time but reduces impact. WHY
like i said: it doesn't make sense except if the impact is enough to kill a foe because then u technically kill faster
the magazine perks trade one for another like i said e.g. more ammo but longer reload time
Faster charge times have lower impacts, and slower charge has higher impact. It's the trade off of the charge time mw
normally u just make it more powerful and now we just have a trade off like with the magazine perks. WHY
Because that is how fusion rifles work as I explained like most other weapons, higher fire rate = less damage and slow fire rate = more damage just like how the adagio perk lowers fire rate of weapons in exchange for higher damage.
why wouldnt bungie just give u the upped DPS just like with master impact with swords
like i said: you are not upgrading it so the design IS faulty
slightly less total damage, slightly more dps
who is using that crap in a boss fight or Master Strike ?
it results in you just barely NOT downing a champion or elite or what ever they are called in a standard strike ( which i do mostly ) so the dps is WORSE since u have to fire a second time or change weapon
Sounds like it's Lucent Finisher time!
