Some of the best endgame content requires a premade fireteam, but there are lots of things that can be done as a solo player.
None of the Legacy content is included in any of the Witch Queen bundles.
Nope,
Legacy Edition for some Y2 entitlements, the Y3 campaign 'Shadowkeep' and Y4 campaign 'Beyond Light'.
Witch Queen Deluxe gives the Y5 campaign, Y5's four seasonal content drops, and the 30th anniversary content.
Then there's the upcoming (Feb 2023) expansion, Lightfall.
The universe is incredible, the graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is fun. It's the business model that is absolutely disgusting.
But its very solo friendly with match making for most activities out side of higher tier content and end game which can be easily done if you find other players through the common lfg tools such as bungie's fireteam finder or the d2lfg community discord.
In-game LFG is coming next year.
So witch deluxe has the 30th year anniversary included?
The good thing an actual group finder is coming later next year.
You can find groups easily if you use the companion app from Bungie.
When you buy Which Queen DLC, you won't get past dlcs with it, so you will have to buy legacy edition.
Sorry just to clarify, there USED to be a 'Witch Queen + 30th' bundle, looks like that is no longer available?
If the edition you're looking at doesn't specifically say it has the 30th content, then it does not (the 30th content btw is not particularly solo-friendly).
then there are the standard open world maps which are very fun in the beginning
you only need a real team / clan to go raiding
Short Answer: Yes very SP friendly if u dont wanne go raiding
u can get A LOT OF FUN outta the game if you play by yourself ( imo )
btw: you don't need a Season Pass but if yo dont mind spending the money u get a bit more loot which can help u a lot if you're a new Player
you can play it FREE or get a bundle and maybe also get witch queen ( not sure if there is a "big bundle" and i dont know if any bundle includes the Season Pass )
Master+ difficulty activities require you to find fireteams and most of them are too hard to solo or simply impossible and when possible to solo, not worth the pain you go through.
There is always 1 expansion activity for 6 players (can be done with less usually but can get harder), seasonal activities also have a 6 player activity included, both of these activities have the normal difficulty that automatically finds people and then the harder difficulty labeled "master", this version you have to find people yourself using LFG/discord or similar stuff. On top of all of this, you have raids (we usually get 2, 1 from expansion and 1 free raid reintroduced from D1 and i assume removed raids from D2 vanilla) which require you to find teams of 6 aswell, dungeons, which are essentially 3 player raids (dungeons can be solo'd if you are good enough).
We used to get exotic missions with normal and master difficulties often, but we haven't been getting these anymore, last one is from the expansion, when beyond light seasons offered an exotic mission every new season. These missions are usually top tier content, normal can be solo'd easily or with a bit of struggle if it is time based. Master versions can be hard to solo initially but you will eventually be able to solo them if you get enough power and decent gear to melt enemies you come across in these missions.
Basically this game splits the easy to normal difficulty stuff with "easy to solo" but also finds people for you to play with, the harder content requires you to find people, some of the hard content can be solo'd if you know what to do, sometimes content can be temporarily solo'd without much of a struggle because there is a temporary build in the season that makes soloing less of an issue, right now there is a hunter invisible melee build that allows you to have an easier time soloing harder content.
As for the content stuff:
-current active expansion is witch queen, if you buy the deluxe edition, you will unlock 4 seasons that are active in the game while witch queen is the "main expansion", once the next expansion releases, witch queen stops being the "main expansion", meaning, all seasonal content will be removed from the game. So it is a temporary dlc you are paying for, you get to keep cosmetics and gear, in very rare cases, they might adapt seasonal content into the main game (ex: battlegrounds got integrated into strikes playlist, battlegrounds was a seasonal activity from one of the seasons in beyond light). Along with the deluxe edition, you get access to the new dungeons when they release (this is something they changed with witch queen, dungeons weren't part of the deluxe edition deal...). The samething applies to lightfall deluxe, it will unlock the lightfall expansion + 4 seasons associated with expansion and the dungeons associated with the expansion;
-legacy content gives you access to previous expansions only, their seasonal content is removed from the game, like i said previously, seasonal content is temporary dlc that gets removed when the next expansion drops. I should probably state that all the seasonal rewards for each season are removed at the end of the respective season. Like a battlepass in battleroyales;
-anniversary pack used to be included in a special deal for witch queen deluxe before witch queen released, but that special deal is now gone so the pack is standalone and has nothing to do with the expansions, or seasonal content. This pack gives you access to a "new activity" that works in the sameway as a seasonal activity for 6 players with the normal and master versions. It also includes a dungeon that has old loot from Destiny 1, includes the most iconic exotic in Destiny, a rocket launcher named gjallarhorn which is overall a good weapon for pretty much anything (not best dps when precision hits are possible) and a bunch of gear and cosmetics based on past bungie games.
So when you say removed content, how it works?
If you get a DLC, it includes a new map to roam and final boss, is it removed or only the special dungeons that you can do with your team?
This is confusing, i assume that DLC adds a new map/world with a boss and some co-op seasonal dungeons, so the expansion part stays and the seasonal dungeons removed.
I mean it would be stupid to remove a new boss and game map/new world from the game to make it smaller?
What is seasonal content and how it differentiates from the DLC that stays?
P.S. People that don't buy DLC, do they still get access to seasonal content [the one thats gone]
