DLC sale on Epic games store, can I buy the DLC on Epic and play on Steam?

The Legacy collection is on sale for $19.70 on the Epic games store but I play Destiny 2 on Steam. Can I still use the DLC or do I have to download Destiny 2 on Epic games store and play from there?

You can play on both, but you're only getting the DLCs on Epic. Link your accounts.

Hi there!

When purchasing a DLC, you are purchasing a license to use that DLC on that platform. This is how DLC has worked for years and it is not under the control of Bungie.

DLC licenses do not transfer between platforms. If you plan on using the DLC on a specific platform, you will need to purchase it.

If you buy on Epic, you need to play on Epic to play the DLC missions and content.
To play those on both, you need to buy on both platforms.

One exception is, you can use the gear you acquired from those DLCs while playing on Steam.

Its also on sale at humble bundle. Just select the option for a steam code at check out.

DLC cant be transfer, but can account do ?, because after i dowloaded DLC on steam an linked it with my epic - bungie account. My current data on epic was lost and i have to replay the whole thing on Steam
