Solstice rewards buying via event tickets

Is there anything that we can buy with event tickets without having to upgrade the pass? If not, what is the point of the event giving tickets if they're not usable?

It's pretty tame compared to a lot of other games right now, but the current tactics are obviously a foot in the door for more aggressive monetization in the future.

I dont rly care if they charge battlepass, it just makes no sense to me that they would give out currency for free that unlocks rewards in the battlepass that costs money xD

So, base game + xpacs + season passes + now event passes all in addition to the existing cash shop and you don't see that going in a very 'boiled in milk' direction?

They’re not forcing you to pay for any of the Eververse items, or the cosmetic Solsitce items.

There’s a huge difference in paying for content, paywalling certain content (I.E new dungeon) and having a cosmetic option.

Theyve been really pushing it with the newest dlc. With the dungeons being sold separate. They are def going to keep doing these things

Dungeons haven't been monetized (yet), the separate purchase is just an option for people who don't want to buy them alone, they're still included in the yearly purchase of the deluxe edition (for now).

I meant paying for event pass on its own is not that bad. i do agree that generally the amount of stuff thats locked behind a paywall is too much haha
