Every expansion is separate. Best thing you have is Legacy Collection which still doesn't include 30th or WQ.

No, you don't get every DLC if you only buy Witch Queen.

If you get the "Witch queen deluxe + 30th anniversary" and "Legacy Collection", you will get all the DLCs.

This is a live-service game, it changes over time. If you're going to spend money, then the best thing to have is the most recent expansion and an active season pass. In this case that's Witch Queen. (Also bear in mind, S17 is almost over). If you can afford the Deluxe Edition, that will give you access to all of the Y5 content, including the base expansion, the two dungeons, and all 4 season passes. The seasonal content will remain active until the end of S19 for Deluxe Edition holders.

The contents of the Legacy Edition is "nice to have" but not strictly necessary. I'd suggest waiting for a sale if you want that stuff.

No, they don't do like FFXIV on the expansions, you need to buy the ones you want. However, they also don't charge a subscription to play them like FFXIV.

I agree with Nakos, the Legacy Edition is nice to buy to have everything but its not necessary and I'd only recommend it at 50% off, I'd start with Witch Queen Deluxe.

Here is more info on the legacy collection if interested as well as content vaulting since I'm sure someone will come in here and be like "don't buy anything, they'll take it from you!"

I find it hard to recommend 30th anniversary pack to new players to be honest. Sure the armor ornaments you get from dares of eternity are great but you still have to grind out a lot of dares to get them and the armor sets and exotic you get from the dungeon are awesome but its still hard to sell a new/returning player on a 25$ dungeon especially when dungeons are usually daunting for said new players or even some of the average returning players.

Not recommending anything in my post, just answering his question on how to get every DLC. Also you need 30th anniversary to get Gjallarhorn and catalyst (recommended exotic to get).

Yeah I mentioned but its still 25$ for an exotic weapon, sure its amazing but this isn't D1 and anyone else in the group with a gjallarhorn turns any legendary rocket launcher into gjallarhorn which is why you usually saw 4 izanagi/rocket and 1 gjallarhorn instead of 5 gjallarhorns.

I mean don't get me wrong, its 100% worth the pack for the dares and dungeon stuff for someone who wants everything out of the game and has no problem doing the dungeon but still, a 25$ pack for a dungeon isn't even something I'd mention to new players asking about dlc, they can find it and decide if they want it later.
