Destiny 1 remaster PC port and steam release. Who would want this? I know I do.

Yeah, that would be cool. I think if they ever do a Destiny 1 re-release, they'll do it to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series, or after the Final Shape DLC.

About a year ago, I booted up Destiny 1 on Xbox and was surprised to find a handful of other players still playing. I may give it a go again later and see if there's still a current state to it.

Not me. Games in the past should stay there. It is never as good as you remember.

they're not going to remaster D1 when they're in the process of porting raids, strikes, weapons, exotics over to 2. there's still plenty of people playing 1 if you want to go back.

I bought Destiny 1 because my brother and nephew played it but never really got around to it so, for me, it'd be interesting to see what it was all about. I play Destiny 2 now but find it a bit confusing sometimes.

Buids, gear etc. have all evolved (mostly for the better) since D1, so no.

What would be great is a merging of all past content into one massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game... but that'll never happen.

And I mean all of it. D1 campaign, all DLCs, strikes, raids, Prison of Elders etc. all the way through to Witch Queen.

However, Bungie's "vision" of a growing world and continuity make this impossible because Prison of Elders is gone, Io and Mercury are gone etc. etc. - so to bring them back (even with just past content) would be confusing for new players and a retcon for old ones. Nonetheless, it's a shame that we just have this stripped down skeleton of a game now.

It would require half of the dev team, to port it to PC, bungo replied to this a few years ago, that it's not possible as of yet on twitter. Either just launch up your dusty console or wait untill somebody gets past PSN auth to emulate the game on PC

Bungo couldve kept everything and just compressed the game, at least the red war for f2p players. Cod with warzone can get away with 250gb lile cmon
