Yeah and a handful of Xanax won't hurt either. :D
Bungie's fireteam finder and the d2lfg discord are both good options.
Until now you haven't played a single activity which was actually challenging to any degree, you were playing bottom of the barrel activities that any casual player can enjoy. As soon as you stepped foot in here, you got screwed.
This was your first taste of how Destiny can step up its game. All dungeons are like that, all raids are like that, depending on the difficulty level Nightfalls are like that. This is higher tier PvE, not patrol-level crap.
//edit: Unless you literally only mean the platforming sections and nothing else. In that case... use a guide? The traps aren't random..
I play Destiny 2 solo, always have, so I'm fckd. Besides I paid for the weapons, armos etc. why cannot I use them immediately, why do I need to grind for the content I paid for?
It's like when buying a shirt, but you have to climb the store building to get your already purchased shirt on the roof. Laughable isn't it?
MMOs usually are piss easy, played a lot of them, so yeah sure..
How should I know what to do? I know youtube videos, but do I really need to rely on videos to learn the mechanics of this dungeon? invincible enemies, orbs that do...something? How should I know what to do?
Tried it with 2 ppl and we died continuously, so yeah nearly impossible.
When the dungeon first released, me and two clan mates went into it completely blind not having a clue how to do anything. We came out victorious after a couple of hours. We learnt what to do as we went. It isn't hard. You just need to have friends you play with regularly or find an LFG group that wants to do it and is willing to teach.
Join a clan, it'll help a lot.
GoA is a bit trolly with the traps but that's what gives it some of it's appeal is finding your way through. It def would be less fun solo first time because you cant laugh at your friends falling for all the goofy traps. Saying it's impossible and you haven't even gotten to the ogre yet is a bit of a joke tho. The start of the dungeon up to ogre should take less than 30 mins max to figure out your way there, the traps are pretty straightforward. I would suggest finding some people to help you along if you're struggling though.
I got through it more than once with just me and one of my grandsons, I suck, so it must be doable.
I know it sounds extreme but you could try I dunno, thinking? I beat this dungeon day 1 in an hour and 3 minutes with no guides, it really isn't that hard.
