I can't beat the last WItch Queen Mission
I have tried at least a dozen times. All my equipment is 1510 and that is the highest anything will drop. I am not in a clan so I don't have the option to coop really. How do i build my self stronger so I have a better chance and can come back to it. Don't want to PVP. YOu have to be 1530 I believe to do Osiris trials anyway.

You mean the Savathun fight? Just run Gjalla and rocket finders/salvagers/reserves ezpz.

You aquire >1500 Gear by completing Missions That give you powerfull or Pinacle Drops. That might help. Otherwise you might look into a build for your class. This can improve your survivability by A LOT

The Ritual boss with Savathun is one of the hardest ones in the game IMO just due to length and mechanics.

Besides leveling yourself up a bit more you can try to find guides that give advice, but one thing I can tell you is that in the final phase you get a buff called thread cutter. If it hits x3 it will start a timer and will reset after.

You get the buff by killing the three witches around the arena outskirts.

BUT if you take the buff to x2 it will never decay. Yes you will do less dps, but it’s a less stressful time. Also, not killing one of the witches stops enemy respawning, so it’s really only boss dps you have to concern with.

Yea i know about that buff..ITs still very tough and last a long time which makes it a pain to do over and over again. I know about the mechanics.kill the 3 wizards..run down and attack Savathon till she doesn't take big damage anymore. Rinse and repeat. She can kill you however in about 2 hits. And her attacks are small AOE so they are hard to avoid even behind cover. I would also agree ..hardest mission in the game thus far. I have stopped enjoying it at this point because of the repitition and just want to progress past it. It was fun the first few times though.

I suggest using the Witherhoard.

My first attempt, I had a Machine Gun a Glaive and an SMG equipped. It was ... pathetically useless. I ran out of Machine Gun ammo and despite having mods to increase drop rates equipped, and despite killing adds pretty much constantly, I saw almost no purple ammo drop. And the few bricks that did drop weren't exactly doing much damage to Savathun either.

Second attempt I used Witherhoard, an Autorifle, and a Sword, and it went quite smoothly. Nip out from cover, lob a Witherhoard shell at her, and let the DoT chew away at her health bar, rinse and repeat.

I like the Glaive in general ... because it's a melee weapon that goes in the Energy Weapon slot. My biggest complaint about Machine Guns and Rocket Launchers is that they take up the Power slot, so I can't have a Sword equipped.

The Glaive gives me an alternative melee weapon. I still prefer the sword, but ... I really like having some kind of melee weapon pretty much all the time.

Another thing you might want to think about is the Krait and the Funnelweb both of which are Veist guns and do poison damage.

And... once you've beaten Savathun, don't forget to make an Osteo Striga. Probably my favorite gun of the Expansion.

Veist weapons don't do poison damage, Krait is stasis and Funnelweb is void.
Are people forgetting that something like Fireteam Search exists? I completed the whole Witch queen expansion on legend through fireateam search with randoms! It was hard but very doable
