Is it safe to download the latest Nvidia driver?

I'm currently on 512.95 because the driver update after this one was causing Destiny 2 to crash on start up or during the loading screens, possibly a few minutes into gameplay, just wondering if anyone has experienced any issue with the latest Nvidia driver 516.94?

I can say that I have not, but I would always take new updates with caution. Issues can always happen when you upgrade.

I'll give a shot, I can always revert back to an older driver if I run into an issue. Appreciate the reply!

The one between the op's driver and the newest driver were broken but supposedly fixed with the newest (Spider Man) driver.

Downloaded the latest drivers and all appears to good! Played for 20 minutes to be sure and restarted the game 3 times afterwards to be double sure I don't crash on start up and yup, all is groovy!
