What happened to my ghost

I haven't heard a single word from my ghost in quite awhile now. Did they just stop voicing him?

Ghost's voicelines are mostly saved for expansions and not the smaller seasonal content; same goes for our Guardian.

There used to be a lot of minor voice lines where you'd analyze something and Ghost would tell you about it, but ... most of that has been removed.

You can still find a few lying around. There's one spot near where Xur shows up in the Tower where Ghost analyzes a Dead Orbit message board.

Ghost doesn't really have a purpose a lot of the time other than being a mouth piece for Guardian. During most seasons they don't need us talking because there are plenty other doing it for us such as season of the risen when crow or saladin talks, season of the haunted has eris talking with crow/uldren, zavala/safi, or caiatl/ghual and this season Eido and drifter seems to be the voice talking with Mithrax/Spider. Witch Queen he had a purpose talking directly to Fynch or narrating to us. This is a common thing in games that don't want to have too many actors at once.

For real, why is that a thing for any character, get rid of the distortion effect as well I don't need to feel like I'm on a bad discord call with the npcs.
