The reason for that is “kwtd” means “know what to do” and is generally a farming run. People in those groups expect anybody who joins to be able to drop in and complete the encounters efficiently with no trouble. People either don’t realize that and join fresh to the raid, or they mistakenly believe “kwtd” means “I’ve done it once before and have a general idea of how it works”.
It gets progressively more and more frustrating for people trying to do farm runs and continuously getting people just looking for a quick clear carry that make the runs take 50 times as long as they should.
It’s never an excuse to be an outright ♥♥♥♥ to people, but when people don’t respect the parameters you’ve set for joining the fireteam, I can understand why people would get fed up and quit after a couple wipes that shouldn’t have happened.
I get your point though, sometimes people are insufferable about it like screaming into the mic after one person dies.
A KWTD run is, as said above, a farming run that seeks efficiency above all else, thus it's not what you should look at if you want a friendly and tolerent environement. It's not that you can't meet nice people in a KWTD, it's just that if that's what you want, you'll have better chances elsewhere.
The "must have Div" people can suck it tho ;)
ALL games are like this
They have all the clears on their separate account, duh!
That being said, raids can be annoying because some people just have zero pattern recognition skills or ability to learn. Unless you're literally mentally deficient it should not take more than two tries to fully understand your role in the raid and what to do. I've been there, the same useless idiot in the group making you wipe over and over for hours.
If people make you wipe more than like 10 times, just kick them and find someone else. You'll find raids a lot more enjoyable.
