Ive been playing since d1 taken king, my brother starting not long after launch. I played forsaken and was sad when cayde died, and now they are removing it. This means after they remove it, the only remnants of cayde in d2 will be old strikes/nightfalls. I dont know how to feel about new players not knowing who he is. (edit: said shadowkeep instead of forsaken lol)

Why do you think they're removing Shadowkeep?

As far as I know, nothing of the sort has been announced.

The next time something would even be considered for vaulting would be when Lightfall is released, and that's probably still about a year away. If any content is going to be removed, it will be announced via official channels which you can find here: https://www.bungie.net/en-us/news

Why does OP think Shadowkeep is gonna be removed? They vaulted year 1, then forsaken. Shadowkeep is next in line when the next expansion drops if they keep following that timeline. And of course this year's seasonal stuff too but that's not the topic here.

Cayde died in Forsaken and the game has already moved on past that.
