Solar 3.0 is meh
There is just not much in Solar to compete with Devour, Volatile Rounds, and Invisibility in Void 3.0. Radiant seems like a decent buff, but from what I can see there is only one way to proc it. Via a powered melee hit. Sticking with Void for now.

I'm not really feeling the warlock rework so far.

cant give any ops because i havent tried it yet but if it isnt up to par looks like ill be sticking with void as well

We lost Volatile Rounds though since that was on last seasons artifact, so even void won't be what it was.

Except you didn't, because fragment.

agreed, i wish there was some sort of fragment in solar 3.0 that gave us burning rounds or something idk. volatile rounds was really fun

The Warlock rework is very very bad. This is coming from a Bottom Tree main. No more crazy stacking explosions from melees and grenades. The new "scorch" and "ignition" seem way weaker. No more Polaris or Jotunn burn interactions. No more Phoenix Dive spam. It's now a rift or a dive on an absurd cooldown. But hey, it heals others when you land. Cool, right? Oh, no more extended super duration, so way less super damage. Super has less tracking and no explosions unless you spend fragment slots. Dawn Chorus boost to super damage is heavily nerfed. It went from an amazing subclass with an S tier exotic to garbage overnight. It's horrible.

There is a new weapon perk incandescent, which scorches enemies. Melee recharge is pretty simple to proc with solar 3.0 fragments and scorch will be even easier with new frags that are coming soon. all you have to do is trigger ignite on the scorched enemies.

Not the same thing plus it was nerfed even if you do proc it with fragments.
Titans really got screwed with this one, overall aside from being able to boost stats more the abilities and stuff we got with this were really lame or just outright worse than before. Plus they removed abilities like mortar blast which I loved and was fantastic for melee gameplay, but now we're stuck with the charge melee which sucks to use and a throwing hammer.

I want my exploding heal-on-kill punches back dammit.

tiar 5 class item from artifact, rays of precision "while raidant, solar precision final blows cause combatants to ignite" thats the new volatile not as good tho

solar 3.0 really shines in pvp

I have to admit i only tried the new solar warlock a little, but it didn't grip me at all and i soon returned to adjusting my void lock which even without last season's artifact mods feels waaay better.

As someone who loved bottom tree dawn for it's explosions and longer super compared to top, i 100% agree.

Also, the thanos snap melee is downright weak. It doesn't even hit half the bar of a red bar enemy in the new area.

my issue with this whole 3.0 situation is that the artifact has a crucial role in how effective they are. It just ushers people into only playing one subclass. like it would be better if theres just more fragments that do the things in the artifact and the artifact was strictly weapon related
