Or it is to show that many guardians died in this place or something
Zavala ignored Shaxx's warning about the Hive/Crota's army on the moon
We lost a couple thousand guardians that day to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of knights and wizards
It was fun
thanks sirs
Hmmmm, so this is where the Thunderlord comes from. When do we get ro see the other two Solar and Void MGs? :)
I'd assume that this is also where the handcannon eriana's vow comes from along with it's ornament.
Alright, thx :D
Then Eriana's assembly another small raid group for revenge (this is where the ornament "For Wei" is coming from) but also failed, with only Eris as sole survival but she lost his eyes and another dude i forgot the name trapped inside throne room.
Presumably she carved a new socket into her forehead.
I just eat you know..
XD
I always thought ahamkara were the most interesting part of the lore back in D1. It's nice to see them expanded on.
"Alone, Eris wished upon her Ahamkara talisman, and it helped guide her through the dark tunnels on the Moon. To survive, Eris used the Hive's own Darkness against them. When the Hive eventually took her human eyes, Eris replaced them with the eyes of a Hive enemy."
So she did wish to be guided through the darkness, yes. But she also DID take the eyes of an Acolyte.
