Farming Rice Cakes

Is there any trick to farming these or am I the unluckiest man alive?

The first couple of weeks of Shadowkeep I would get a rice cake pretty much every day not even going out of my way for them. I've been actively sprinting laps around the moon for about 5 hours today, I've farmed up 700 Helium Filaments from what I've done on the moon JUST TODAY and gotten precisely ZERO rice cakes.

I feel that their might be some sort of glitch in play here because I distinctly remember feeding the same rabbit 4 times back in the early days of Shadowkeep and he wouldn't despawn. A couple of weeks ago though I notice that the rabbit has despawned and according to my triumph progress I'm missing 3 rabbits. That is exactly 3 rice cakes wasted feeding the same rabbit and that's the same amount I need to get the triumph.

Have I been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of a triumph?

Last I heard is that you can only get 3 per week.

Any update? I'm in the same boat. I haven't had any rice cakes drop for me all week.
