1 craft the glaive
2 get glaive up to lvl 3
3 upgrade glaive
4 mission board quest to unlock exotic glaive.
personally i cant see glaives used in end game content but im sure there are people who can and will. i love playing around with it on lower lvl content like overworld activities, strikes and bounties but thats about it. with the 5 slots used for the seasonal mod for arms i cant really see it being useful for nightfalls and up.
which mission to get the exotic glive ? ...
you get the exotic glaive by doing all the mission board quest through the witch queen dlc. the one you get at the end of the quest series is dependent on your class. titans get the quest for bubble glaive, healing for warlock, and lighting for hunter. theres a good number of them so it might take some time but i dont remember anything particularly difficult in regards to these quests. though one of the quests towards the end required 3 throne world weapons being crafted. iirc i had to do the pistol, red herring rocket and tarnation heavy grenade launcher. again not hard but if you dont have the mats on hand to craft them then youll have to gather them up.
If we get more champ mods next season for glaives, feel free to use one and level it up by killing enemies. Glaives are actually pretty strong depending on how you're using them.
