Destiny 2
Fortnite causes Destiny 2 Query timeout (I am not joking)
Long story here.
In D2, sometimes Battleye has an query issue, kicks me out and says code "plum".

My computer is more than able to play this game at full graphics, but my processor is a bit fried from treating it poorly over the years. Causes many games I own to lag and whatnot, so I believed that Destiny 2 was having such a hard time maintaining connection to Battleye's checks and the game thought I was cheating. I would constantly have microstutters, lose connection to discord and whatnot. Either way I did the things everyone else did: Check my Graphic Card's settings, Deleted the Battleye folder and verified the game etc.

So about every 7 minutes the game kicks me back to the title screen regardless of following every guide out there to conquer this violent plum. Fine. I randomly booted it up today and the game is running completely fine for longer than 7 minutes. then 10. then 30! What could it have been I wonder as I run around my PC playing where's waldo, trying to spot the difference. I wasn't rendering anything, windows explorer wasn't up, I was in a discord call, everything was the same as my previous attempts to play this game. The only difference being I didn't play Fortnite today. Fun little game Fortnite is, but...how on Earth does it cause Destiny 2 to fail? I wonder if other Battleye games cause the same effect to D2. Fortnite is the only one I regularly play.

tl;dr: I didn't play Fortnite before Destiny 2, No query timeout with plum code. wtflol :bartz:

You should really consider taking a class or two in computer sciences because this isn't at all how computers work...
It is possible for games that use the same anti-cheat programs to conflict with each other. Or more like two versions / instances of the same anti-cheat to conflict with each other. Easy solution is to either make sure the process isn't running the background or restart PC when switching games.
I'm not an expert but I think its more likely that the EGS client left open from playing Fortnite is hogging your already "stressed" cpu.

oh no I'll make sure the egs is closed. check task manager to make sure there's no background processes from it lingering as well :featherduster: my pc is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol
Been dealing with this recently. Driving me crazy. Thought it was Razer Cortex for a minute, but it still does it.

Dism and a sfc scan worked for a minute once. Same with uninstalling BattlEye, yeating the D2 files for it, verifying to grab them again, and reinstalling.

I'm about ready to reinstall Windows because my bud had to do that to his Wife's PC when it did something similar to her.
