ever mission has 1-2 3 phase boss that is boring and/or frustrating. Pvp somehow got worse... i dont know how d2 was bottom of the barrel to begin with but some how it got worse. The "story" is bland yeah sure i can go read every text i get but why bungie got out money put some effort into it. Warframe has more voice lines than this whole game and its free. Glaives suck.

I get that a lot of you really like this but honestly dont you want better? This isnt that good.

You're entitled to your opinion, but generally folks seem to think well of the Witch Queen content, story, etc.

Also, Glaives are actually very useful in PVE content. They're basically a sword that never runs out of ammo, can shoot an elemental shot, and can shield you from damage. They lunge when you swing them for a melee attack, helping you close the gap or move forward a bit. In fact, they were so good in PVE that they just got hit with a nerf, because they could stun lock pretty much anything but a full-on boss by doing a shoot-stab-stab-stab-repeat move.

I'm not a big fan of PVP, so you'll have to ask others for their input on that.

As for Warframe, it's a good game, but its quality does not make D2 a bad game. Both are excellent. If your preference is for the other game, then by all means, go play it - but coming here to throw a wet blanket is really in poor taste.

my point bringing up warframe is to show that a smaller team with less money can do more voice lines then d2... and yes i am negative because this dlc is imho no where near as good as people say it is. sorry i dont just want to blindly follow and praise bungie.

You do understand that "quantity of voice lines" isn't a metric most of us are using when we gauge how good (or not) the game is ... right?

Yes, Bungie does have more employees, but both Bungie and DE fall into the category of "Large Studios". There comes a point where throwing more people at a problem doesn't make it easier to handle.

Don't tell us we're "blindly" following Bungie. (Just about) everyone who's responded to you in this thread is a forum regular. We're all competent adults, perfectly capable evaluating the pros and cons of the game and of the expansion. If we're playing the game, it's because we like it, and that's a considered view.

If you don't like Destiny 2 (or Witch Queen) then the door is over there ---->

Trust me you want as little spoken dialogue in destiny 2 as possible now. They spend more time on soap boxes than actually discussing anything important and the budget for humor has evaporated.

i cant speak to that but i do want more story in the game and not just as text. Bungie isnt as good as fromsoft when it comes to environmental story telling (imho bungie sucks at it for the most part). byf is amazing and i love his videos but i wish the game had that much story telling upfron and center because the lore is some of the best stuff in destiny.
