What will happen if someone gifts u silver bundles from Steam?

Hello there, i wanted to buy silver, and i kinda thinked, maybe i can again obtain that season silver package once again. What will happen if a friend of mine will send it to me again? Can i activate it tho? I dont care about that emote, i just want some silver... If not, i guess ill but it directly from the store.

I think as long as it's a silver bundle you don't already own you should get the silver. I'm pretty sure that you don't need to buy this season's silver bundle to get silver (it can be any of the past ones too).

I already have all of them and just wondering if i can gift myself another one, and activate it
