VOG Atheon - best weapon to shoot oracles?

Used Night Watch with explosive payload - not a good choice...
or I need use it with oracle disruptior mod ?

I generally don't think it's a good idea to shoot with primaries, as they're quite hard to crack
I prefer using sniper rifles or shotguns

nvm on shotguns, on Aetheon Oracles, one person with Xenophage is enough to deal with all the oracles

on Atheon - Sniper, Xenophage, or scout\pulse with raid mods to +damage to oracles if you have those. But snipers with large mag is more than enough and optimal. There are 2 ppl shooting them.

i have a false promises AR with like 96 range i use for them, granted im not taking all 3 out myself but if someone else is shooting with me we easily get all 3. but just 1 person with xeno can clear all 3 waves of oracles alone, the second shooter can just stand around or clear some of the adds while they wait

Any scout rifle is good on atheon even if they take 10-15 hits to destroy. All other primaries do not have the range or have bad recoil.

You have 3 people in there

Fatebringer with explosive can kill 1.5 oracles per mag
Scouts can destroy 1.5 oracles per mag
Autorilfes can destroy about 1 per mag

For Atheon pretty much any primary works as long as your team isnt stupid

High-impact sniper, Salvo with vorpal/demo for dps and spamming fusion, xeno if you don't have any more ammo for sniper.

At least I'm one shotting them. You don't need primary at all, it's just take too long.

tbf special ammo isn't used that much in atheon encounter(unless you're one-manning the oracles and have the xenophage equipped).
You're not using special for atheon damage phase right? Better to be quick than stock up on special ammo that you're never gonna use
