to get into some of the stuff (Crucible, Glass Vault, it says i need account Verifiction.
and that i need to provide a cell phone number.

is this a once and done thing or would i need to 2 step though my phone every time I log in or use said instances?

Since I was "grandfathered" in and don't need to do that I can't say from personal experience but I'd assume its a one time thing just to make sure you're actually a unique user and not some cheating bot that is trying to spam free to play accounts.
