Still can't get Forerunner

Hey, Bungie, it's been over two weeks! Am I ever going to be able to interact with the Anomalous Object so I can get Forerunner and complete the quest? Consider fixing your crap!

You have to stand in just the right spot for it to trigger. Otherwise it just won't. Still agree with you that it should be fixed. But it should, in theory, still be possible to get it

You need to not only stand in the right spot but you also need to look in the correct direction unless I'm not understanding your issue.

It is very twitchy triggering the interaction point its hit box is very small. Took me quite awhile inching around the point to finally find the spot/angle that let me trigger it. Definitely think that it is easier facing in certain directions it is almost like the hitbox is partially buried in the ground so the angle you approach it from does make a difference.

you do also have a pre requirement, you cant just randomly go there and do it, as i tried to do for about twenty minutes lol

This, yes, but also I had to crouch for it to show up and stay up long enough for me to interact with.

Inching around the point? Facing the right direction? If you're talking about the space between the rocks where you face toward the cliffs on the other side of the map, I have already done that. I am talking about going through the crevice, jumping up all the stuff and into the room with the object. There's this huge "anomalous object" (looks like a life pod) and there is no way to interact with it.

The spot is incredibly small, took me a few minutes of adjusting. Watch videos and replicate exactly, it's extremely narrow. bad design kinda

It does NOT work just fine.

Literally every video shows that you just walk up and get it. I literally cannot do that as there is literally nothing to get, no quest indicator there, no place interact with it.

It. Is. Broken.

Alright, Destiny 2 update today!.....Still can't get Forerunner. Thanks for nothing, Bungie. Been broken for a month now.

It's been fine for over a month now. Tons of video proof of it working, and people telling you it works just fine, but it's definitely Bungie, and not you doing something wrong.
