Warlock gameplay-wise due to sustain. For teamplay too. Just remember that warlocks need to press jump button asap to float higher, unlike other classes that require a pause before the 2nd jump
Titan close second imo the jump is better for beginners but titans are expected to have basic knowledge of their class before raiding as they are used a lot at the high end with the void bubble or arc missle specs.
Hunter if you either want to play a very high dps build for Pve at the endgame or support for your teammates with invisibility or the void bow shadowshot. Hunter jump is good for platforming as its a typical platformer double jump, some people find this easier some harder, hunters also have less ways to heal themsleves vs the two above hence why people dont recommend it as a starting class but its subjective
you pick a class for their identity, and the hunter is the lone wolf. titans and warlocks have class abilities and one super that is very helpful for teammates. but hunter is exclusively selfish. yea there's one subclass where u can make ppl invisible and debuff enemies to take more damage, but even then ppl take hunters for their dps into raids, not that they're the walking heal or shield.
so if you're a lone wolf; pick hunter.
A few weeks ago I would suggest Hunters but here is the thing. Hunters are garbage in the endgame. They might be fun to play but there are major drawbacks (atleast for me) that makes them outright horrible to build for endgame. Their arc subclass is completely bad and i only play that when i have to (for missions etc). Void is also pretty lackluster because Bungie nerfed the debuff from the super significantly and the exotic tied to that super. The only good thing hunter has is the stasis subclass. Solar is only good for dps but it is nothing spectacular. But stasis is so fun on hunter so its the only thing i recommend for this class. The good thing is that you dont really need a specific exotic to empower this build. But hunters follow a sad line. 90% of their exotics are outright trash. Many buff the hunter in a way that no one is going to use. I can name 5 exotics that are good in my eyes and worth using and thats it. This lack of good fun exotics makes it pretty hard to prep a hunter for endgame. I only suggest hunter if you know what you wanna do in the endgame with him and if you have a some of the must have exotics. It is not really beginner friendly.
I really recommend a warlock. The only drawback this class has is the movement and the abomination that is his jump. This is the only thing i outright hate on warlock but you get used to it after 2-3 hours of jumping. Warlocks have fantastic subclasses. Every subclass feels strong or unique. The only mandatory thing for endgame pve activities is his solar well but if you dont need it you can switch to one of the other subclasses because they are all great in my eyes. The diversity of how you can build a warlock is pretty good and warlocks have a good amount of really usefull exotics, many of them can be used on every subclass. 2 days ago I switched from hunter to warlock and i am really glad i did this.
At the end it is your own choice. I think a warlock is mandatory for pve endgame activities because of the diversity of builds and the usefullness of subclasses and exotics. Hunter is really hard to catch on in endgame because they are just good for dealing dmg. Titan is ok. It is good to have one in the team but if you are missing one you are kinda like "meh we are still fine". I would prefer a titan over a hunter tho unless the hunter is using stasis.
Depending on the state of meta balancing, some classes might be slightly more optimal than others but there is not nor has there ever been nor will there ever be a point where one or more classes are incapable of completing content designed to be soloable.
On an actually serious note here, Well is used in the endgame for the heals. Bubble titan is the stronger damage boost and is pretty much almost always welcome at most DPS phases as far as I'm aware.
Side note, I am a Warlock main.
Its pretty easy to keep all 3 on pace, If you have one character a high light level with good loot, your loot is boosted for the other two characters a dastardly amount
Titans are good at taking a hit and dealing a hit, they have good mobility, some of the best supers and abilities out of the classes, their special exotic items are very nice oto
Warlocks are good at standing their place and survivng, while probably the slowest of the bunch, they are easily the most versatile and most unique items
Hunters are good at picking off targets and keeping themselves safe at all times, if you pair it with the right items they also have the best DPS In the game by a longshot but hunter can be more of a difficult learn
This is just my experience though, you might have other ones
Again try out all three! I started with Titan, fell in love with it, tried out warlock, fell in love with it and then tried hunter, fell in love with it
I dont main 1 Class so I know for a fact they can all be viable in any content, its just playing a bit differently and that difference is when you need to find that works best for you
