I would say the content in itself is worth it, if you enjoy the game enough to consider buying it. You'll get access to Seasons of the Hunt, Chosen, Splicer, and if you don't own it already, Lost. Each has two activities linked to a short campaign, as well as a few exotic quests and the right to buy seasonal exotics from the memorial kiosk.
But I will add a caveat that almost all of the 'season of...' content will be removed from the game when The Witch Queen releases, Feb 22, 2022. I know the Battlegrounds activity will stay as well as the Proving Grounds strike, but the other activities will be going. So it's up to you if you think you can get the most out of the content between now and near the end of Feb.
So, what has Witch Queen got to do with Beyond Light?
If you get Witch Queen Deluxe, guess what's included, ding ding ding, that content you were just going on about.
@OP, if you are going to play a LOT to get the benefit of the three past seasons, I guess it could be worth it, but that's a lot to do in a short time.
If you can play a couple hours a day then you'll have no problem getting through all the seasonal content, its not that deep if you want to do everything once and do the story quest steps but most of the play time would come from repeated stuff for more loot or triumphs.
You were banned for other stuff but ok.
That's ... not how it works at all.
There are two tracks: The ala carte track, and the complete bundle track.
If you buy into the ala carte track, you get the flexibility of choosing which content you want, and which you don't care about. But if you end up buying all the content, then you end up paying more.
If you buy into the bundle track, then you pay more upfront, but pay less overall (than if you bought the ala carte track).
Pretty standard business marketing.
Pretty much this; there's a lot of stuff to do (is currently grinding out SotH stuff to get the Triumphs and is a few hundred Data away from his first title
sure it has a cool ornament and 4 seasons of content, but we are already in s15. not worth it
This.
Like he said, it is definitly worth it, but you have little time left for all the content.
