You will get Forsaken, Shadowkeep and Beyond Light, which are the Year 2, 3 and 4 expansions. You will get Season of the Lost, which is the final season in Beyond Light.
You will not get Beyond Light's earlier seasons, Seasons of the Hunt, Chosen or Splicer. You'd need the deluxe edition upgrade for those.
You will not have the 30th anniversary pack (not really that good for someone just starting) or any access to upcoming content, ie The Witch Queen, the year 5 expansion.
I wouldn't recommend the legendary edition at the moment due to time constraint. I'd recommend the Beyond Light Deluxe edition and then play through Beyond Light and then try to focus on the seasonal content before it goes. Its not that deep and can easily be played through but I don't know how often and how much you play.
Ok, as I played a little more of the game I already understand what I want, I just think about having weapons, new equipment and going to the CRISOL, I'm not very interested in the story, i would buy this DLC?
What I meant was that I'm going to play the game because I liked it a lot, so I would like to know what would really be the best purchase option.
So can I buy the legendary edition without fear? One more thing, will the legendary version come with season 15 included?
The legendary edition does include season 15 but as with the other seasons included with the deluxe upgrade that I posted seasons 12-15 are going away when Witch Queen launches to make room for seasons 16-19. So while Beyond Light and Shadowkeep content is staying I'd save that for later and try to focus on the seasonal content if you decide to get the deluxe edition upgrade. The seasonal content isn't that deep and assuming you can play a decent amount of time on average you should have no issue getting through it.
So right now it's worth buying the Beyond Light And after that buy the deluxe edition?
So in the deluxe version I'll have all the content from Seasons 12-15 and I'll still enjoy the DLC beyond light? My concern is to buy this deluxe edition and only play the season 15 content.
S12: Wrathborn Hunts
S13: Battle Grounds (and Presage)
S14: Splicer Override (and Expunge)
And the current season (S15, Astral Alignment and Ascendent Plane activities) all remains active until the end of S15 (Feb of 2022, when Witch Queen releases).
If you own the Deluxe Edition, you can play all of it. That's in addition to the basic content from the Expansion itself (which includes Variks expanded quest system (called Sabotage) and Hunts, and the Exo Stranger's quests).
The basic expansion content will remain after S15 ends. I believe that Battle Grounds are also remaining. But (AFAIK) all the other seasonal content will be gone (vaulted technically, but we aren't likely to ever see it again).
