Uhhh... what's the point of the Cryosthesia catalyst now again?

After you fire a burst you literally have the entire mag so you don't need to play off of the catalyst trait nearly as much now.
IMO catalyst needs rework after the recent rework.

No it doesn't, the Catalyst actually makes the gun usable on its own now. Before when it emptied the mag to freeze, you'd either A: reload the gun, but the catalyst does that on shatter kills, or B: swap to a different weapon/melee.
The new freeze shot removes the need to swap to make use of the perk.

Just an ease of use sort of deal really

Meh, didn't really notice that in the new activity, ads are tanky as all hell, still had to switch to a special weapon to bonk a frozen target. Maybe it's good for doing patrols but in my eyes an exotic weapon needs to be more.

it's a really fun weapon for low lvl activities yeah, don't bring it to more difficult stuff

yes and you still have to reload, now to get the freezing shot. they turned the whole thing around for the sake of usability but the main thing is still the same - shooting and freezing are still on two different sides of the reload. except the catalyst played into the weapon the way it used to be before and now it's irrelevant.

I'm pretty sure it has no timer to use the freeze now. so You can hold on to it with no rush. not a Big change, but it's something I guess.
