If it's the one that requires competing the glassway strike then it can be completed through the random strike playlist.

F2P/non-Beyond Light owners can play Glassway, randomly through the Vanguard Strike playlist. Just keep loading in and quitting until you get it. No DLC needed.

"A Hollow coronation" One mission is to do mission "The Glassway" on Europa but it requires Beyond light dlc

It's not a free to play quest though, isn't it for ager's scepter?

Correct, it is for Ager's Scepter. However, it is a seasonal exotic quest, so the Beyond Light DLC is not required for it.

Kind of weird to like the game enough to buy a season but not the expansion it's associated with.

@OP on the note of the expansion it is only 20 us$ if interested or use pc game pass trial/promo and cross save if not interested in stasis or deep stone crypt and you already own forsaken for the middle light class trees.

Well my point here is how ugly method this is to make ppl buy dlc so they can finish Quests Well i might buy dlc but jeez just making Quests without including those dlc to finish it cant be that hard.. Maybe just add Advert that pops up everytime what shows what dlc players do not have bought..

Feel free not to buy, just keep loading into random strikes and go to orbit until you get glassway.

Its understandable OP is annoyed, I would be annoyed too if I had to spam the playlist over and over and over and over hoping that RNG will finally gracefully let me do the strike required by the content I paid for. All it took is letting players on this step to be able to directly queue into the bloody strike for the quest considering its REQUIRED. But nah, enjoy the roulette. Garbage design, if you ask me.

I wanted to highlight that bit too and point out how silly it was to even point that out as a solution.

It is entirely possible to farm strike playlist for hours and hours daily and still not get it. I almost went most of Undying season without getting a certain one as I remember being absolutely baffled when I finally got it and couldn't even remember the strike being a thing and I put over 500 hours into that season.
