Ways to obtain Armor Mods of past Seasons?

Hello!

If we want to find, for example: Explosive Wellmaker, Reaping Wellmaker, do we need the past Season's content?

Are there any alternatives in the game to produce these elemental wells?

I would also like to ask for a general opinion: if the older seasons worth buying only for items, or they generally get outperformed in newer updates?. (the last MMO game i have played always had the new items outshine the past ones)

Ada-1 in the tower sells armor mods.

Mods from HELM require corresponding seasons. Ada sells CWL and Warmind mods for all players, so check her daily. I suppose she will start selling Well mods in WQ or they will come up with a better idea.

Some gear is better because the alternatives were sunset, but most of the time it's sidegrade. They tend to include old seasonal gear in loot pool later, seasons just allow easier farming due to focusing and double perk columns. There is crafting system in WQ that might do the same, but we have no details about it yet.

I'm not sure it's worth buying old seasons this late, maybe for exotics only. https://www.bungie.net/en/Guide/dcv

as mentioned above, currently there is no vendor selling those mod, neither u can get it from opening engrams so the only way u can get those mod is by buying them from helm, i believe those mod are locked behind seasonpass paywalls so ys, the way to get them is to buy those seasonpass.

however, as those season vendors are going away when witchqueen launches, so do those itema they are selling, which means it is very likely that ada may sell it starting from next season

I read title and assumed OP was talking about unobtainable armor mods but unless Bungie radically changes armor it is probably safe to assume they'll start to pop up in ada's inventory when year 5 starts.

Thanks for the answers. After some searching I went over to the HELM, and talked to the Splicer Servitor vendor, looks like it is selling some Mods in there, but still not sure If these are going to be useful enough to upgrade my DLC for 20 EUR. I see some Build Guides mentioning these.

yea, like i said, u do need seasonpass to buy them and i rly do not suggest upgrading it just because u want to buy a few mods
