Does Guided games even work?

General asking if this feature works. I understand it in "beta", but 15 minutes and nothing? And before some one says it, no, I will not use LFG forum or Discord. Bungie can easily implement a matchmaking system IN ALL their content, they just refuse to do it.

"In beta" is just there as an excuse so people don't complain that it doesn't work.

It does work but almost no one uses it and it could be hours before you find a team.

Most people strongly dislike any form of LFG, too toxic. I joined the most popular LFG server and all I ever heard was "f***** g**" every 5 seconds. No thanks.

You still have to deal with it in most game with match making, but at least it's streamlined to avoid dealing with that sort of garbage for too long.

They just recored and report it. I did it multiple times, but true some of it are toxic. But It was rare in my case, also no one force you to play with those people, just make your own post or find other group.

While I understand there are and definitely always will be toxic groups you can just leave them and find "chill" groups. Every lfg I've done for Vow has been smooth and mostly clean other than usual friendly banter/trash talk.

Hmm thats weird, cause ive used it for almost any lfgable activity I do and have been since I moved to PC back in warmind and I barely ever run into toxic groups like that. You sure you not overblowing it? :)

being a girl is a completely different story, not denying that, unless LyricalViking is female though my statement still stands, not saying everyone is a peachy sunflower but it is rare that someone will explicitly be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unprovoked or for no good reason, at least in my experience

This is my experience too. I have maybe found ONE trueely toxic person in my many many LFG sessions. The worst is usually frustration of wiping, losing a trials round, etc which is understandable.
