best "legit" way to farm weapon levels?

im not interested in "go thrallway" or "go shuro chi", i just want to play the game normally and do activities to level up my rocketlauncher. Whats the best activty to do it? Psi-Ops is kinda long and has limited heavy ammo, same for strikes?

do whatever activity you like with the rocket launcher or swap to the rockeet launcher at the end of activity

I am doing legend lost sector farm and it is spawning a lot of heavy ammo crates. So you could try there.

im not positive on how much a normal strike completion will do, but the lake of shadows strike can be done in about 5 mins if you speedrun it. As for 'normal' gameplay (not grinding) i'd just say to do whatever you normally do, but use your rocket launcher lol
(and i know it may be boring, but shuro chi is super easy. you could easily get a rocket launcher to level 17 in an hour or so

wellspring for rocket launcher, plenty of rally flags and dense mobs that you can blow up as soon as they spawn

Run Psi-Ops, switch to your weapons before you return to the material plane (before the misison completes) => easy weapon level ups.

farming the same activity is the same thing as farming a section of an activity, dont know why you have to quote "legit" as if thrallway or shuro isnt

they are though, using a macro is a completely different conversation, but just using thrallway or shuro chi is literally just the same if not worse than farming a particular fast activity like lake of shadows

Except you actually get stuff or gain progress in the game from those activities.

What I mean is that you might as well play the actual game and progress the loads of objectives in the game.

Sure I will say that I did the whisper room back in the day but we also didn't have much reason to do anything else and I guess its just me but now with so much to do it feels like a waste of time to just kill thralls for an hour when you could just run around strikes, patrol zones, and other activities to complete seasonal challenges, transmog bounties, vendor rank, or finding other deepsight weapons to craft the wellspring or psi-ops weapons.
